The cutouts are provided with a wooden base to enable them to stand freely without support.
These colourful cutouts of Warrriors of the Maratha era, popularly called as Mavale (Mavle or Mawale or मावळे), are used to decorate forts (Diwali Killa) made of clay or other similar material during Diwali.
These forts made during the Diwali festive season, usually are replicas of forts valiantly conquered and built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Our Mavale cutouts represent the mighty Maratha King himself, Tanhaji and other key members and people of the Maratha empire.
This Mavale (मावळे) cutout set, is also a great pretend play activity to boost creativity and visualization skills. Building forts and decorating them together with these cutouts during Diwali is a very enriching and engaging experience for the family. One also learns about the glorious history of the Maratha empire of India in an interactive manner.

The primary tier is the bubble wrap, the secondary tier is a 3-ply corrugated wrapping paper and the third tier is polybag/corrugated cover to protect against rain and moisture. (Oversized items maybe packaged in HDPE packing)
